Polyquaternium-7 is the most common used microplastic, worldwide. You can find it in nearly every cosmetica used for shower gels. Just take a look at the ingredient list on your shower gel bottle. Don’t just throw it away, please bring it in to the local recycling centers.

By your own responsibility, you must avoid to use such damaging and destroying products, immediately. Be careful with your environment and yourself. Microplastics are causing cancer, because the very fine particles and their chemicals will infiltrate your body cells ! Today, every person on the planet has got several amounts of microplastic particles in his metabolism, just because we drink water. Also, the classic products are made of Minerale Oil. The remaining chemicals that are washed out into the sewage are destroying the water quality and make it often impossible to bring us back fresh and tasty clean water into our households. To test that, you just can take a glass of tap water and taste it. Especially in larger cities, water does not taste really good.

We have to stop that process by a smart purchase of ecological products.

Every single person is able to decide whether she or he wants to use such cheap products, further. In my own humble opinion, I simply don’t like the smell of classic shampoo or shower gel from e.g. Nivea, Procter & Gamble, etc., and I chosed an ecologic way. My favourites are the products from Speick & Weleda, they have a very fine and tasty flavour and you can purchase them online or at the local drugstores.

We also have issues with household cleaning products. The manufacturers today often use highly aggressive chemical ingredients, tensides and, of yourse, all of them are produced by Minerale Oil and also Palm Oil, which usage is responsible for the ecological and human desaster in the jungle of e.g. Indonesia (Orang Utans).

Over here in Germany, we have developed a culture of recycling and also environmental responsibility in a remarkable percentage of our citizens. I, personally prefer following products ->

These products are sustainable and also very efficient. They smell like fresh citrus fruits and they bring in an healthy and comfortable climate into your bathroom, kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, wherever. The positive microbiologic surface that is generated by using that products is responsible for that; good bacteria eats bad bacteria.

 

Begin, now. Take a survey through your cosmetics, wash- and household cleaners and find out, what biological products can help you, and improve your life quality. You will spend a lots of money, too !

Rescue of the Ozone Layer…? Just take a Black Balloon… :-D

We already have seen, that it’s possible to get our Tropospheric Climate back to normal or colder states, having a more normal state like 150 years before the massive industrialization.

But we still got following issues:

The Lack of Ozone in the Stratosphere and too high temperatures in the same zone.

So, what could we do with that ?

My vision is the same as in the lower troposphere: large amounts of water vapour, pumped up into an height between 10 to 50 km.

This could be done with many very large stratopheric automatic balloons, constructed of a very special material that uses normal sunlight for the electric energy supply. The material could be constructed out of some very special compounds, that are webbed directly into a fiber of  Graphene and other components.

The required water damp from the lower athmosphere called troposphere must be pumped out of these zones, and then blowed out into the regions between 10 to 50 km.

The expected effect should be a dramatically higher saturation with water in form of ice particles, which also remain to clouds and also reflect the sunlight.

The balloons could now do following: electrolysis of the water into hydrogen and oxygene in a few amount, and then the production of Dioxygene for the further catalysis. This must be calculated.

The intense UV-Screening in these upper athmospheric zones is doing the rest and produces Ozone out of Dioxygene where required, e.g. the most masses over the South- and the Northpole regions. The clouds will have an globally cooling effect, additionally.

So, we have currently a melting north pole ice cap.

Why don’t we also build evaporators in that area, feed them with (safe nuclear) energy and salt water, and then lower the temperature by local area condensation effects ? 😀

I think that will be a run.

 

Concrete: Stable by seawater

Some Roman docks have braved the waves for 2,000 years. Modern building materials would have crumbled long ago. The extremely durable “Roman concrete”, however, is even more stable in salty seawater, researchers said.

Pliny the Elder wrote in his Naturalis Historia in 77 AD that the Roman docks in the salty sea-water become “one stony mass, indomitable for the waves and stronger every day”. He has not exaggerated.

The fact that some fortifications have withstood the waves to this day is due to a special building material, the Opus caementitium . With the “Roman concrete” the ancient Romans built many of their monumental buildings, eg. As aqueducts, arenas and huge domed buildings such as the Pantheon . These, too, weathered weather conditions and even earthquakes surprisingly well. For comparison: Modern concrete survives about 100 years without damage.

Crystalline structures

The secret is probably in the ingredients. The ancient building material consists mainly of lime, volcanic ash and volcanic rock, mixed with seawater. For curing, the cement takes over 150 days. What makes the mixture so durable has been studied by Marie Jackson from the University of Utah for many years on antique concrete samples.

In doing so, she already noted that hardening inside the material creates special crystalline structures that evidently provide greater stability where current concrete structures often crack. In addition, Jackson’s team has already discovered an extremely rare mineral in marine mortar.

Strengthened structures strengthened

For the new study, the samples were examined again using high-resolution methods. The researchers found another mineral that has only formed over time. Their conclusion: When seawater flows around the docks and penetrates into the concrete, components of the volcanic ash dissolve.

The result is the new rock-like structures that strengthen the material. As a result, the plants today are even stronger than shortly after their construction. In modern building materials, salt water has exactly the opposite effect, according to Jackson in a press release.

The researchers are now working to recreate the ancient concrete. Volcanic ash and rock are rare. That’s why you have to search for alternatives. Since it takes time for the building material to develop the desired strength, the building material would, however, only be suitable for certain projects, for example to secure coasts in the long term.
